Cape Campbell a family own winery has been established since 2000, this winery has quickly established itself as a producer of premium wines. Winning accolades with its first vintage.

Sauvignon Blanc 2005 Won Gold – Wine Style Asia Award 2005, and Silver – International Wine Challenge 2006. This is a fuller body style Sauvignon Blanc with clean racy acidity and a long lingering finish. The colour is pale straw with hints of green. The fruit from the cooler vineyard gives citrus and gooseberry notes which integrate well with the more tropical passion fruit characters from warmer vineyard. Best enjoyed in its early years while the youthful freshness is vibrant and alive.

Pinot Noir 2004 This outstanding and easy drinking wine with a long

seductive finish won Silver at the Bragato Wine Awards 2005 and a 4 stars rating by the Winestate Magazine. This wine had gone through a period of 10 months malolactic fermentation in Old and New French Oak. The wine has a lovely rich ruby colour with aromas of ripe plum integrating well with subtle spicy oak. On the palate the flavours abound. Prune and black cherry with cassis again integrate with the subtle spicy oak and fine tannins. This Pinot Noir is very approachable when young but will reward with careful cellaring of up to 5 years. Enjoy this Pinot with lamb, veal, subtle game dishes and good hard cheese.
